Folks, this is one hell of a banger from @Caffinated-Pinecone. This is a depiction of the titular character from Marsh Silas, my Warhammer: 40,000 fanfic series, in his Vol. III+ outfit with his (spoilers) Vol. IV weapons. A genre or style I've tried and decided isn't for me : I'm very slow at drawing, so I tried some rapid and spontaneous styles. But I always had to make too many attempts to obtain something barely satisfying :D A common art advice I find hard to follow : I know that my art is kinda "rigid"... but I don't know how to give more life to my drawings ! My biggest art-related fear : Actually ? Art devalued by AI generated pictures. It's already happening. A project I've been putting off : One day I hope I'll have enough time and courage to draw and publish a story I wrote when I was teen. It was about my dog as a secret agent :D A subject I feel like I'll never master : Uh... Anatomy, perspective and composition. Just a quick bit to describe my roadmap for the coming year, if just to visualize it myself. Poetry and other original work are going to be taking a backseat for the foreseeable future; although I enjoy it all and I want to keep my content varied, my off-site projects both original and fanon have taken a big hit from my writer's block. I have a lot of catching up to do, so after I finish A Mouse in the Castle: Redux, my primary uploads will concern my Warhammer: 40,000 fanfic series, Marsh Silas, specifically Volume III's uploading. I have a few other small, miscellaneous off-site pieces to finish other and I'm waiting on a new cover for Marsh Silas III: Exemplars, so it'll be a tad dry here for a little bit. I'm hoping by mid to late January to have some steady uploads for my story. Really, I want to balance my fanfiction with drafting a novel I want to publish. Hey~ Just keepin' ya peeps up to date on my lack of activity, the hyperfixation mindsweep is still ongoing. No need of a bully to embarass me when I can just tell on myself like that. Gotta admit, hitting thirty and falling down the TMNT manhole wasn't something I had expected (it was more my brother's thing, alongside DC superheroes when we were younger) but ehh, I'm here now I guess and it covers a lot of (silly) stuff I'm enjoying. Would be pretty cool if that led to some actual fanarts 'cause I feel very creatively bankrupt with my own projects. But also in general January has never been a good month for me mentally so let's see where we're at in the next few weeks.

Aw geez, thank youu! And I don't think it has much to do with ego, not necessarily. We tend to vibe with stuff that speak to us and can inspire us, it's pretty normal! With that being said, I guess I found another artist to watch to stare at a lot of good stuff
